At On Plane Performance ("OPP"), our training is designed to bring out the best potential in every athlete. We achieve this by adhering to a very simple principle ... stay on-plane for as long as possible with maximum power.
We base all our training on constant testing and information gathered from experience, industry leaders and scientific data. Our goal is to build foundational strength and optimal mechanics from the ground up, so athletes quickly progress to producing remarkable results.
We provide:
We also partner with trusted coaches (e.g. ex-MLB players) and industry leaders to help our athletes achieve their goals. This includes physical therapy, neural movement, nutrition, physiology, and biomechanics right through to product manufacturers and prospect recruitment.
We are based at Training HQ in Rockville - it's the most advanced indoor training facility in the DMV area. The elite facility includes:
Parents and players can also utilize the elite facility for practice by using Training HQ's simple online booking system. If more help is needed, there is a whole network of coaches at Taining HQ who are great to work with and experts in their field - all your training and development needs are under the one roof.
Most athletes come to us because they want to improve their performance. They range from recreational ball to travel and college players. Based on experience, there is nothing worse than training hard for years, only to realize performance metrics were never set and therefore never achieved. We vowed never to deliver training services in this directionless way.
The difference with our coaching starts with our training session notes. We provide notes in electronic format for all clients. Athletes can access their session notes and upload additional files (e.g. game video) in one online location for future reference and sharing. What's remarkable is this simple collaborative process makes every session meaningful and outcome focused.
We also utilize an advance predictive analysis tool to establish goals and set training programs on a monthly and yearly basis. What's exciting about this tool is we are currently achieving greater than 97% accuracy for predicted outcomes. This means our athletes can see their future performances today - they train with purpose and motivational levels skyrocket.
